Nakajima B5N2 leaving to attack Pearl Harbor
A Nakajima B5N2 (Kate) torpedo bomber is seen taking off from the deck of the Shokaku, in route to Pearl Harbor. Group number one of the first wave of the attack consisited of forty Nakajima B5N2 bombers armed with Type 91 torpedoes, and fifty B5N2 bombers armed with armor piercing bombs.
